Hi, I’m Nicole ~ the heart and hands behind Coco’s Creations.
Not too long ago, I was living the corporate life. But when it came time to choose between a career and being truly present with my kids, the choice was clear. I walked away from the 9-to-5 to come home, and I’ve never looked back.
Coco’s Creations was born from that decision, although not for a good year later. As a stay-at-home mom with a background in education, I wanted to create something meaningful: an activity that would bring genuine joy to kids and families, spark creativity, and result in something worth keeping. Something that could be gifted to grandparents, displayed on a shelf, or tucked away as a cherished memory of a special moment in time.
And most importantly? Something that was completely screen-free.
Why Screen-Free Matters to Us
In a world where screens compete for every spare moment of our kids’ attention, I wanted to offer something different. Something hands-on. Something that invites kids to slow down, create, and feel proud of what they made with their own two hands.
That’s exactly what Coco’s Creations is, and it’s a win I’m incredibly proud of. The best part? While my kids are painting and creating, so am I. This business keeps me off a screen too, working with my hands and staying present for the moments that matter most.
A Family Built for Adventure
We’re a young family with big dreams and even bigger wanderlust. I’ve personally called Oregon, Alaska, Texas, Oklahoma, Ecuador, North Carolina, and British Columbia home — and every place has shaped the way I see the world and the value of making memories. Our family loves to travel, explore, and adventure together, and that spirit of discovery is woven into everything we create.
Coco’s Creations isn’t just a small business. It’s a passion project, a family mission, and a love letter to the joy of making something with your own hands.
